The Relief Association provides financial support to Wakefield Fire Department members, retirees, and their families through death benefits and short term financial assistance.

The Wakefield Fire Department’s Annual Firefighters Ball is supported through funding from the Relief Association. This event celebrates the contributions of active members of the fire department and retirees.
Remembrance
On the second Sunday in June, the Wakefield Firefighters’ Relief Association celebrates the memories of the deceased Wakefield Fire Department members. This somber event is held at the Wakefield Firefighters Memorial at Lakeside Cemetary.
